ICE MAVERICKS CELEBRATE PAUL FLACHE’S ADVANCEMENT TO NEW COACHING ROLE AND THE SOLIDIFYING OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE ICE MAVERICKS & THE FLINT FIREBIRDS

The Ice Mavericks Hockey Club is thrilled to announce that Paul Flache, U18 Head Coach, will be embarking on an exciting new journey as a full-time assistant coach with the Flint Firebirds of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). This opportunity not only highlights Coach Flache’s exceptional coaching abilities but also exemplifies the Ice Mavericks’ unwavering commitment to player development and advancement.

The Ice Mavericks Hockey Club takes immense pride in Coach Paul Flache’s outstanding accomplishments and his unwavering dedication, which has played a pivotal role in the development of our players and the overall success of our organization. While Coach Flache embarks on his new journey with the Flint Firebirds, his connection to the Ice Mavericks program remains strong. Flache will seamlessly transition into the role of Director of Player Development, where he will continue to provide invaluable guidance and implement industry-leading player development strategies to propel the growth and triumph of our players.

With Coach Paul Flache assuming the position of Director of Player Development, the Ice Mavericks program will continue to be the premier destination for player development. The Ice Mavericks believe that Coach Flache’s new role will create greater opportunities for player development between the two organizations.

Associate head coach and program director R.C. Lyke will continue as head coach of the Ice Mavericks u18 team. Coach Paul Flache and Coach R.C. Lyke will continue their mission of creating the best development and advancement program in youth hockey.
